Ambitious reporting takes time and resources.

If you want to cover the costs of one of our projects, in part or in full, please get in touch.

At the moment, this is a self-funded undertaking.

The proceeds of any paid subscriptions will go directly toward reporting and producing ever-better quality features.

EXPENSES INCLUDE:
Travel
To the extent possible, this is an earthbound (i.e. anti-air travel) operation. Costs are kept to a minimum, and an emphasis is always placed on supporting local small businesses.

Translation
On-the-ground reporting often involves working with translators and fixers (who will always be appropriately compensated and credited).
Ideally, stories will also be translated into the relevant languages for the countries where they're reported. This should hopefully build a bigger international audience, but also ensure that information isn't gated-off in English.

Editing
The quality of features will improve greatly if there's scope in the budget to hire an editor. At the moment, this is all done by one person, who will undoubtedly make mistaeks.
